1. Who we are

This policy applies to gopibhoyar.com, a free resource that helps job seekers discover overlooked employers with fewer applicants. The site is operated by Gopi Bhoyar. For any privacy-related questions, contact gopibhoyar3@gmail.com.

2. What data we collect

We collect the minimum data required to operate the site:

We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, fingerprinting, or any third-party analytics scripts.

3. How we use your data

• Email address — used to send you a single confirmation email with a link to the PDF you requested. We do not send newsletters, drip campaigns, or promotional emails.
• Device / country / referrer — used in aggregate to understand how the site is used. This data is never linked to your identity or shared with anyone.
• Issue reports — used solely to investigate and resolve the problem you described.

4. Legal basis for processing (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, we process your email address on the basis of consent — you actively submitted the form to receive the resource. You may withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing (see Section 6). Technical metadata (device type, country, referrer) is processed under our legitimate interest in understanding site traffic, and is not used to identify or profile individuals.

5. How and where data is stored

All data is stored in AWS DynamoDB in the us-east-1 (N. Virginia) region. Emails are sent via AWS SES. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We do not store your data on any local servers or share it with third parties, advertisers, or data brokers.

6. Your rights & unsubscribing

You have the right to:

• Unsubscribe — every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. Clicking it immediately stops all future emails.
• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Deletion — request that we delete your email and associated data.
• Correction — request that we correct inaccurate data.

7. Data retention

We retain your email address for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, your record is marked inactive and no further emails are sent. You may request full deletion at any time by emailing us. Issue reports are retained for up to 12 months for operational purposes, then deleted.

8. Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted data to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
